"I was totally nervous at the start but feel really up about telling stories now!" Public Library Staff.

"Just to say how excellent yesterday's storytelling training was. This morning we had a class of 4 - 5 year olds from a local school and I chose two stories and really enjoyed sharing them with the children. I followed your advice and I'm now confident about storytimes. Thank you very much for helping me with what was a real problem... formerly..." Public Library Staff.

Jerry's storytelling training package is excellently tailored, with strategies and confidence-building ideas for all levels of expertise. Our staff were clearly enthused by his own knowledge and understanding, and the practical advice he gave, and have come away with an enhanced appreciation of the preparation and use of stories and rhymes in public libraries.
Jonathan Woolf, Community Librarian, London Borough of Redbridge.

The storytelling courses were a very good fit to the brief we gave. We were particularly pleased with your emphasis on encouragement – not being frightened to “give it a go” – also the way you use humour to deliver the message. And the pig was lovely!

Many of the participants really lack confidence in their ability to deliver a story session, so not putting anyone on the spot was just right. Leading by example was the best way to go with these groups. Something for everyone – from the novice, to the experienced needing a refresher and new ideas. Excellent, feedback from the participants has been very positive."
